As a Project Manager, you will work with cross-functional teams to promote Agile practices within Veterans United. You will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to drive planning and execution, as well as facilitating regular check-ins to keep projects moving along.

Job duties will vary upon assignment but may include:

  • Coach, mentor, and educate teams on Agile practices as defined by the organization. Monitor and update resources, while providing consultation, support, and training to peers.
  • Work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Product Development teams to drive the planning and execution of Agile releases.
  • Facilitate iteration and release planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Track and monitor iteration progress through metrics (velocity, team capacity, accepted stories, bug counts, performance, etc.).
  • Serve as Agile advocate by encouraging Agile methodology and lean thinking.
  • Communicate across the organization on project and team status, milestones, successes, and risks.
  • Actively contribute to making the team and culture stronger by assisting with other duties as needed, excluding licensed activity.
