Anticipated Duration: 6+ months contract

GPA Delivery Manager - Technical Delivery Manager
Manager NOTES
Cloud, ETL, database containerization technologies is ideal
looking for end to end delivery experience - working with architects and development teams while being able to communicate to senior management.
Can have development and or infrastructure (cloud) experience
NOT looking for PMO project managers, or business process or operations PM's
This role is a sole contributor, and will not have a team to manage.
MUST have at least 2 years of financial industry experience

Technology and Program Management
Overview:
The Technical Delivery Manager must be able to manage end-to-end delivery of multi-dimensional technology projects/programs with diverse technology stack and global deployments

Responsibilities:
* Analyze existing processes and operating models through the efficiency lens
* Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
* Define functional requirements and conduct design reviews
* Define and deploy metrics for measuring process improvement
* Institute feedback models to enable continuous process improvement
* Conduct research and publish artifacts to drive simplification
* Review / Author operational procedures
* Distill information provided by subject matter experts and other partners into executive-level narratives
* Establish foundational and execution work streams for process improvement and automation initiatives
* Partner with Domain and Technical architecture teams to drive efficiencies To be effective in this role, candidate should possess the following:
* 8 years minimum professional experience in a leadership role within an organization of similar complexity and size
* Working knowledge of cloud-based technologies and frameworks
* Working to deep knowledge of financial products, technology architecture, cloud offerings and frameworks through direct project work
* PMP or other related certifications are a plus, but not absolutely required.
* Direct experience executing multi-dimensional development projects/programs with diverse technology stack and global deployments
* Exposure to cloud-based technologies
* Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to grasp new concepts quickly, lead diverse partners toward reasonable recommendations, and prepare decisions in a logical fashion with supporting impact, to aid in timely decision making
* Ability to develop and manage a comprehensive program plan and dependencies
* Negotiation skills
* Self-starter, with an ability to lead and execute work with limited to no supervision
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to understand detailed problem resolution discussions and condense pertinent facts for senior leadership
* Proficiency with Microsoft office products (excel, ppt, word, MS Project)
* Entrepreneurial Spirit
