Position Purpose:

Present a welcoming, professional, friendly, and efficient service in reception area, and to the general office. Support HR Manger and staff with daily functions.

Essential Functions:

  • Answer phone calls promptly and courteously.
  • Greet and assist visitors in automated sign in system
  • Ensure all visitors are equipped with Personal Protection Equipment before entering the production area of the plant
  • Retrieve Employee Call In line communications and log in spreadsheet on a daily basis
  • Maintenance of internal and external phone and address listings
  • Maintain the appearance of the reception area
  • Mailroom administration to include inbound/outbound mail and overnight shipping services.
  • Support all departments with recurring mailings to include but not limited to mailing invoices, checks, various statements, and notices
  • Efficiently administer the upkeep, order, and delivery of supplies to include but not limited to office items, coffee, copier supplies, vending machines
  • Accurately submit office supply and equipment orders through online ordering system
  • Perform administrative work to include miscellaneous projects for multiple departments
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Training
  • High school diploma required
  • College education a plus for promotional opportunities

Minimum Qualifications
  • 1 - 3 years office/administrative/customer service experience
  • Computer skills required
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
  • Strong communication & organization skills
Physical Demands

(Physical Requirements (standing, lifting, repetitive tasks, travel)
  • Frequent sitting and working at computer for extended periods of time.
  • Occasional standing and walking on concrete.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 15lbs
Environmental Conditions
  • Primarily office setting working with computer and phone.
  • Minimal exposure to plant conditions
Behavioral Traits
  • Ability to calmly manage multiple customers, callers and requests at one time.
  • Able to maintain highly confidential information
  • Very strong attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Solid written/verbal communications
