We're looking for a talented and energetic Regional Human Resources Manager to join our Human Resources team in Dallas, Texas. The Regional Human Resources Manager works as a business partner to sales leadership on issues of significant organizational importance. Plans, implements, and administers strategic HR initiatives and programs for their regions (including Canada) with recruiting, employee relations, labor relations, performance management, affirmative action, safety, compensation, and benefits. This position is located in Dallas, Texas, at our corporate office.

Responsibilities:

  • Counsels, coaches, and trains regional management on recruiting, performance management, employee relations, organization development, work environment issues, organizational change, and leadership.
  • Develops programs, policies, and procedures regarding employment, staffing, and turnover.
  • Coordinates succession planning, selection, promotion, and placement of intra-organization or divisional personnel.
  • Manages Affirmative Action Program for each region; works with assigned areas to develop action plans to meet Affirmative Action goals.
  • Manages recruiting activities to ensure qualified applicants are hired and AAP/EEO requirements are met.
  • Conducts management development training regarding selection, performance management, employee relations, and labor relations.
  • Coordinates performance management process for assigned regions.
  • Ensures OSHA and store safety procedures are followed.
  • Researches human resource programs and activities; recommends changes or innovations to improve effectiveness.
  • Prepares and issues manuals describing human resources policies and interprets such policies for managers.
  • Ensures area of responsibility complies with all applicable Federal, State, and municipal regulations relating to fair employment practices, employee safety, and health.
  • Represents organization at Human Resource related hearings and investigations.
  • Performs other analytical duties as required.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience
  • Experience with Canada employment, corporate governance, litigation, and other regulatory matters preferred.

  • Must thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects and priorities in a hands-on manner while being resourceful and innovative at tackling challenges.
  • Excellent business judgment and demonstrated proficiency in organizational, analytical, conceptual, problem-solving, and executive presentation skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to sift through complicated business issues and communicate only the essential aspects clearly and concisely.
