Registered Nurse/Long Term Care/Part-Time Opportunity

The Registered Clinical Nurse Long Term Care is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Serves in the resource nurse role when oriented and as directed. Supports the health system's vision and mission. Utilizes knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
Qualifications

Required Minimum Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing:
  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred;
  • National certification in area of specialty preferred
Required Minimum Licensure/Certification:
  • Current/active license as a registered nurse in the State of Georgia;
  • Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association on the first day of employment in position.
Required Minimum Experience:
  • Experience with direct patient care preferred.
