Job Details:

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for the valuable growth of branded sales with defined warehouse (independent) and/or chain stores.

REPORTS TO: Regional Sales Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Manage and execute goals and strategies given by directors of sales and marketing
  • Handles day-to-day client activity, solving problems and providing regular communication
  • Call on a designated group of independent or chain stores
  • Increase item distribution on branded product lines with existing client base
  • Provide merchandising support that maximizes visibility and sales
  • Gain new clients/retail outlets within specified warehouse(s) or chain(s)
  • Perform audit and retail sales calls
  • Compile retail audit data
  • Train and educate client base
  • Execute turnkey marketing events
  • Perform product demonstrations with designated retailers
  • Work collectively with Sales Operations Team, Fabrication and Distribution to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of client orders
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or its equivalent preferred
  • Experience with business to business sales and STRONG customer support

Other Skills / Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Passion for success
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office products Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Ability to perform office functions from home
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50%+ of the time
  • Use of personal vehicle for business is reimbursed.
  • Excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality
  • Ability to execute projects and complete action plans
  • Valid Driver's License
