Essential Functions

  • Strategy and Execution - Own Product Marketing P&L and manage key business KPIs to accomplish strategic goals.
  • Marketing Strategic Plan Development & Execution - Responsible for development and execution of annual plans including business analytics, communication, as well as web and other marketing product marketing content. Partner internally and externally to develop and execute marketing activities that drive growth and achieve targets.
  • Competitive Intelligence - Monitor competitor activities, including pricing, promotion, new product launches, advertising.
  • Marketing Budget - Manage marketing budget, including budget tracker, PO's and invoicing
  • Project Management - Perform ad-hoc projects as needed to support Product Marketing Director
  • Communication/ Networking - Guide advertising agencies and production vendors to execute communication plan; Assist in vendor negotiations and selection to control expense; prepare materials with creative agencies
  • Product Management - Develops launch plan and executes product launches with cross-functional partners for new products.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Strategic leadership skills
  • General management with P&L experience
  • Has worked within product innovation or on product launches
  • Has experience developing creative for marketing plan execution
  • Proficient in financial and analytical thinking and analyses
  • Effective communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proven cross-functional manager, team influencer and problem solver

Education & Experience/Licenses & Certification

  • College degree (MBA or Master's preferred)
  • 4-6 years related work experience
  • Retail, consumer package goods, home security, or technology experience (required)
