RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's publicly traded Healthcare company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Lenexa, Kansas (KS). This individual must be knowledgeable of general and industry specific accounting and finance practices while flexible enough to manage the more complex activities associated with analyzing general ledger results. In addition, must be a self-starter to engage with department leaders in support of developing financial statements and corresponding reports to drive action from insights.Duties:- Senior Financial Analyst will support the Finance Director in providing financial insights and analytical support including owning projects, meeting timelines, and developing relationships with various stakeholders
- Financial planning and analysis to include preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual forecasts, annual budgets, monthly reporting packages and PowerPoint decks for monthly/quarterly/annual and ad-hoc business reviews
- As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will assist accounting teams with month-end close by providing data/insights, reviewing accrual analysis, reviewing financial and operational metrics and overall financial results to include variance analysis against outlook/forecast/budget/prior year
- Partner with business leaders and their teams to drive efficiencies and reduce costs
- Ad-hoc analysis to support and provide insight around key business decisions
- Leverage technology to develop/improve enhanced reporting capabilities and process automation
- Senior Financial Analysts support management with Internal Audit and SOX testing
- Collaborate with other Finance teams to drive best practices/efficiencies
REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics
- MBA/CPA a plus
- Minimum 3-4 years of financial analysis/accounting experience is required
- Strong Excel skills
- Intermediate PowerPoint and MS Access experience
- Knowledge of Cognos, ESSBASE and PeopleSoft a plus
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, and other reporting tools a plus
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with wide variety of audiences
- Organizational, multi-tasking and decision-making skills
- Business partnering and relationship development
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
