Senior Project Leader, Kohler Services

Opportunity

The Sr. Project Leader is responsible for continuity of flow of all projects including but not limited to timely start/completion and collection of balances within predetermined profit margins while maintaining quality professional installations. All while setting clear expectations concerning use, leverage, and protection of the KOHLER Brand.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the complete installation experience and service operations, including supervision and training of all installation crews.  The position will maintain work plans, schedules and budgets for projects and facilities and coordinate project activities to maximize use of best practices including team problem solving and decision making.
  • Maintain timelines for each step of the install process for all individual product lines to meet agreed upon install cycles. In collaboration with General Manager:
    • Set clear installed volume targets by product.
    • Set clear expectations for all installers, both employee and non-employee regarding dress, personal appearance and behavior conforming to KOHLER policies.
  • Define and action a structured process of reporting and review of performance for each installation person and quality review of installs.
  • Analyze in real-time, key performance indicators and be able to respond with solutions to close performance gaps rapidly.
  • Identify commonality of customer install issues, both during and after install, to correct and/or create action plan to reduce or eliminate those issues to continually improve customer satisfaction.
  • Effectively communicate valid response to both clients and installation personnel regarding specific construction issues.
  • Oversee all aspects of warehouse activity including receiving, stocking and staging of jobs.
  • Oversee permitting for all jobs.
  • Oversee ordering process for all products needed for jobs (Kohler KCIC), miscellaneous materials and product needed for warehouse.
  • As directed by the General Manager, meet regularly with accounting to review weekly cash flow projections.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data updates in all established systems both manual and electronic.
  • Prioritize completion of assigned duties while ensuring those under your direct supervision complete their assigned tasks.
  • Ongoing clear communication of anticipated staffing needs to General Manager or HR as directed.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or five years of experience in Construction Management of medium to large scale builder or related industries.
  • Experience in the Building or Home Improvement Industry is preferred.
  • Proven leadership attributes and the demonstrated ability to set clear objectives and to drive results in a cross functional environment are required.

Travel

  • Approximately 15-20%.
