* Ability to do first article inspection of manufactured parts, electromechanical assemblies, printed circuit assemblies and final assemblies and provide final disposition and recommendations
* Ability to initiate non-conformance process, and assist in resolving non-conformances.
* Ability to accurately document results of inspection/testing and maintain controlled document files, logs and test records
* Ability to proficiently monitor receiving inspection backlog
* Proficient with measuring equipment such as micrometer, caliper height gauges, and plug gauges
* Knowledge of SAP and the ability to complete transactions for release
* Familiar with ISO 2859-1 sampling plan and ISO 13485 standard
* Proficient knowledge of geometrical tolerancing
* Ability to conduct advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution
* Ability to maintain the schedule to release on time and support backlog prevention
* Ability to provide input and support for CAPA investigations
* Ability to reviews and provide input into SOP/DOP revisions as needed.
* Ability to communicate and demonstrate the process to external bodies
* Must be IPC - 610 and IPC - 620 certified

  • Accurately document results of inspection / testing and maintain controlled document files, logs and test records
* Able to read and Inspect cables per wiring configuration

*Able to lift 35 lbs.

* Strong attention to details and ability to understand and follow complex procedures.

* Working knowledge and experience in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

* Effective and clear written and verbal communication skills in English language.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Completes a variety of assignments based on established procedures and ways of working. Identifies required delivery and process improvements which drive increased efficiency, throughput and quality. May provide direction and training to other team members. Acts as technical resource to others.

Perform inspections of purchased parts according to acceptance criteria using 2859-1 standard sampling plan.

Monitor receiving inspection backlog daily

Able to be flexible with the work schedule

Process SAP transactions to segregate and disposition non-conforming product

Other duties and responsibilities in the Quality Department as assigned

Education and Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Preferred 3-5 year of relevant experience in an FDA regulated environment, Familiar with ISO 2859-1 sampling plan and 13485 standards in the medical device industry and/or in-vitro diagnostics preferred
