What You Will Be Doing "Design, build and improve APIs, services, and systems across all products
"Help scale our backend architecture and migrate to a service-oriented future
"Working collaboratively with and mentoring other engineers
"Driving overall architecture decisions
"Ensure standards for engineering excellence, scalability, reliability, and reusability
"Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
What You Need for this Position Minimum 5+ years
" Building scalable, resilient backend systems
"Experience working on, and deploying, large scale systems in Typescript, or other similar languages
"Proficiency in concepts related to data modeling, data storage (SQL, NoSQL, Graph DBs, Redis)
"Enjoy and have experience building, efficient, well documented APIs (GraphQL)
"Hold yourself and others to a high quality bar when working with production systems
"You are able to take complex product goals and efficiently deliver working software in logically consumable pieces and on schedule
"You take pride in your work
"You have a strong product sense
"You love typescript, and building + scaling web applications
