LexisNexis USA is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack to play a key role in the team that builds enterprise software to support the legal departments of some of the world's largest businesses.

CounselLink is an ELM (Enterprise Legal Management) Tool designed to help large companies manage their legal work and spend. The teams focus to solve complex problems across a range of areas including Work Management, Financial Management, and Vendor Management.

You will join a supportive, collaborative team that is working on modernizing a cloud hosted application and your contributions as a Software Engineer III will be to support the development of new features as well as enhancing the existing features.

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of full-stack software engineering experience building web applications.
• Strong understanding and ability to apply Object-Oriented concepts
• Knowledge and experience in Java (preferred) or .Net
• Experience in Angular 2+
• Strong Understanding of Spring, Hibernate, REST.
• Knowledge of databases and the ability to write SQL queries.
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
• BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge and experience in front end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, JQuery, Angular.js, Angular, React and/or another modern front-end framework
• Consistent use of good coding standards, and a drive to improve personal and team code quality
• Experience in driving process and delivery improvements
• Experience in engaging with product managers and wider stakeholders to ensure developing things of value for customers and business
• Strong self-starter with a creative problem-solving attitude.
