The successful candidate must be self-motivated with excellent organization skills, must be able to manage their work load efficiently with direction and support from the Chicago based office.
Duties of this position include (but are not limited to):

• Execute the assigned service activities for ELGA and process equipment range of products for the US.

• Oversee direct onsite service, support and installation to our customers in a timely manner as required. Travel is required.

• Sales support is an important focus area in this role. Must promote equipment and services by performing customer demonstrations, participation in trade shows, follow-up sales opportunities and any other related activity as required.

Successful candidates will have:

• 10 years experience of servicing laboratory based equipment, providing support and self-managing.

• Experience in the service industry, customer focused, professional demeanor.

• Excellent knowledge of digital circuits, wiring, programming logic, electrical components, electronics, processors and mathematics.

• Commissioning and validation experience are a plus.

• A strong knowledge in mechanical instrumentation is required.

• Excellent understanding of water chemistry and water purification technologies and their applications.

• Willingness to travel.
