The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for packaging and shipment of orders, communicating with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities Include:

• Plan and direct activities to load and ship priority goods.
• Relay special instructions to Distribution Associates regarding sensitive orders at the facility.
• Communicate with Corporate Transportation Department to order truckload carriers based on skid count, weight, as well as estimated pick-up time.
• Monitor urgent orders to ensure immediate attention.
• Communicate with corporate office on time-sensitive orders requiring immediate shipment to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Communicate supply inventory of shipping materials and other necessary products.
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Count goods according to WO's requirements
• Wrap skids/boxing
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Forklift experience/license or certification.
• Reading comprehension, math skills, phone skills, communication skills
• Fluency in English and Spanish languages
• Basic computer experience, including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Ability to bend, lift, stoop and carry 70 lbs
