How You Will Be Making a Difference

By leading and motivating a dedicated team of Intensive Care Coordinators, the Social Work Clinical Supervisor ensures that youth and families in the community receive high-quality care and high-fidelity wraparound services.

A successful Social Work Clinical Supervisor will do the following:

  • Oversee, coach, train, and support a team of 4-9 Intensive Care Coordinators.
  • Promote self-care and teamwork through provision of weekly individual/group supervision, and team meetings.
  • Review and edit (and sometimes conduct) comprehensive assessments of family and youth requiring services.
  • Support departmental budgeting by managing staff to submit documentation and billing in a timely manner.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance by ensuring team members' documentation meets utilization review and quality assurance standards.
  • Contribute to management team by participating in weekly management meetings, training and development, consultation with supervisor and team members on challenging and difficult client issues, and secondary on-call rotation.
  • Expand reach of program and access to resources by collaborating with community-based organizations, networking with local providers, and managing special projects as needed.

Qualifications
  • Must be an independently licensed, Master's level clinician with at least three (3) years of experience in providing behavioral health services to youth and families.
  • Currently licensed as a clinician in the state of Massachusetts; preference for licensure as an independent practitioner
  • Must have supervisory experience and experience working collaboratively with state agencies, consumer advocacy groups, and/or behavioral health outpatient facilities
  • Must maintain certification in the Massachusetts CANS
  • Preferably knowledgeable about communities we serve
  • Preferably knowledge of a second language such as Spanish or Haitian Creole
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer with the ability to learn new software applications
