Description:

  • Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method.
  • The roles in this function will cover all primary development activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products and services and to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.
  • These roles include, but are not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery.
  • With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output.
  • This also includes evaluating new tools, new techniques, strategies;
  • Automation of common tasks; build of common utilities to drive organizational efficiency with a passion around technology and solutions and influence of thought and leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative ways.
  • Uses pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise.
  • Investigates non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from others.
  • Works exclusively within a specific knowledge area .
  • Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet deadlines.
  • Provides explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise.

Experience:

  • Experience with EDI Healthcare formats, PL/SQL or Postgres experience

Top Requirements:

  • Please list your expectations regarding years of experience for each requirement.
  • Java (2 years), relational database such as PostgreSQL or Oracle (1 year), Experience in business systems analysis and requirements breakdown (2 years)

Team and Team size:

  • Scrum teams are made up of 7-10 individuals, usually 3-4 developers, 1-2 analysts, 1-2 quality engineers, 1 product owner, 1 scrum master.

Interview Process:

  • a. How many rounds? – 1 round with a couple of managers all together (like a panel)
    b. Video vs. phone?- Video
    c. How technical will the interviews be? There will be technical questions asked, depending on what language/technologies they have
    d. When do you anticipate starting the interview process? – as soon as we can
