Scope:
We are seeking practical minded MS/PhD Engineers with a strong interest in applications-based process and systems development. Your skills and experience should align with the hydrocarbon processing industry (HPI), including upstream oil and gas, midstream distribution systems, downstream oil refining, gas processing, petrochemicals and liquefied natural gas production. Experience in the growing bio-renewable energy segment is also desired, including renewable natural gas processing, renewable/bio-diesel production, bio-gasification and synthetic fuels production. Practical technology development experience in one or more of these areas is required. Some exposure to industrial gas separation technologies such as cryogenics, adsorption and membranes is desirable, as is the industrial use of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, hydrogen and carbon monoxide.
The position will report to the Associate Director, Energy group in the Metals, Combustion and Energy Applications team. We offer opportunities to contribute to all phases of technology development from the generation of new ideas to the implementation of new technologies of commercial value to Linde. You will have the opportunity to both lead projects and contribute on an individual basis. The desire to work with international business groups, engineering and operations groups as well as customers and suppliers of equipment and technology is important. Up to 20% travel or work away from the primary location is expected.
