WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Tealium is looking for dedicated and motivated Solutions Consultants who want to have a career in advancing Tealium's innovative solutions in the Customer Data Platform (CDP) space. As a Solutions Consultant, you will collaborate closely with Tealium's Americas Sales Team to understand the customer's challenges through joint discovery, create demonstrations and prototypes to showcase Tealium's value to the customer, and present those solutions to Enterprise Architects, line of business users, and the CxO suite. You will establish yourself as a trusted advisor to prospective customers by proving how Tealium's CDP can combine their digital investments in marketing, e-commerce, mobile applications, and other mission critical assets with their crucial customer data, which will result in greater customer insights and faster time to innovation.

These are the core skills you'll need to be successful:

    • 5-7 years' experience as a Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant or similar role (Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, Technical Advisor, etc.) working with enterprise SaaS product(s)
    • Presentation skills and experience that demonstrate technical proficiency, digital marketing knowledge, business, and communication skills in order to influence key decision makers
    • Ability to assess customer requirements, identify business problems, and demonstrate proposed solutions linked to value and expressed in both financial and strategic terms
    • Understanding of modern sales process, cycles and methodologies.
    • Hands on experience with Customer Data Platforms, Tag Management Systems (Tags, Javascript, JSON, AJAX, JQuery, HTML), Web/Mobile Data Tracking and Web/Mobile Analytics (iOS, Android), Display, Social, Email, Search Marketing, Fundamental REST API and SDK-based programmatic understanding, and other adjacent technologies
    • Experience building and delivering Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and responding to functional & technical elements of RFIs/RFPs independently and effectively.
    • Ability to lead architectural discussions.
    • Any specific industry experience is a plus.

What you'll achieve:

3 months:

Become certified in Tealium's iQ Tag Management, AudienceStream CDP, and EventStream API Hub solutions

Begin to build your customer-facing and Tealium positioning skills through shadowing and customer-scenario role playing

Create a reusable demo asset on a Tealium technical topic of interest

12 months:

Successfully deliver your reusable demo asset by the end of your second quarter

Partner with Accounts Executives on account planning and strategy and support marketing events

Scope, plan and deliver product presentations and demonstrations that are tailored to the client's requirements

Put all the pieces together to "perfect your craft" by closing deals

Participate in the continuous improvement of Tealium's products by making technical contributions and by providing feedback to Product Marketing and Engineering

Additional requirements for the position include the following:

Must be located in North America

When travel resumes, ability to accommodate some travel

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
