Sr Software Developer/Full Stack with Web Front End Focus

Intrado's Global Technology Services Department within our Digital Media segment is currently seeking a Sr Software Developer/ Full Stack with Web Front End Focus. The work location is office based in Boston or can be remote in the United States.

Essential Duties
• Collaborative design and implementation of modern user-friendly interfaces
• Creation of tests (Unit, UI, ...) and documentation
• Active participation in the implementation and operation (e.g. troubleshooting) of new cloud-based services
• Active participation in building and improving our continuous integration and deployment processes
• Participation (virtual or in person) in planning meetings for coordination between the Scrum teams
• Independent and joint development of solutions for complex problems

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.

Experience: Minimum five years increasingly responsible software design and implementation experience
using a standard coding language and/or platform required.

Candidates with the following experience will be highly considered
• Your responsible, independent and solution-oriented action is based on an overall understanding of the respective problems
• You have practical experience in the application of agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum or XP)
• Very good spoken and written English (minimum C1 / C2 desired)
• Willingness to further establish DevOps culture

• You strive for clean code and would sign the Software Craftsmanship Manifesto
• You know and use common design and architecture patterns
• Experience in application development in the FaaS / serverless environment is desirable
• Expert (recognized authority) in development and test creation with Javascript and Typescript
• Expert (recognized authority) in development and test creation with Angular (10 and newer)
• Advanced experience (practical application and applied theory) in Python (3.X)
• Advanced experience (practical application and applied theory) in the implementation of surface designs with CSS
• Intermediate experience (practical application) in using NoSQL and relational databases is desirable
