As an intern, you will gain valuable experience at a company that has a rich history in public television broadcasting and production on-air, online and via mobile technology, as well as being a leader in the adoption of new media. THIRTEEN, PBS's flagship NY station, is seeking an office intern for its award-winning series American Masters. With over 200 documentary programs, American Masters documents the lives of men and women who have changed the American cultural landscape. Past American Masters have included Maya Angelou, Bob Dylan, Johnny Carson, John Lennon, Andy Warhol, and Annie Leibovitz.
Description of Duties:
Archival research, transcription, screening films, and occasionally writing blog posts. There may also be opportunities for involvement in the production and post-production processes, assisting with local shoots and recording sessions.
