Job Information

The Litchfield, MN manufacturing facility is hiring for full-time, summer help to work in our facility focused on manufacturing processes to produce Bobcat product attachments. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Production Job Positions: Welders, Assemblers, Painters, Material Handlers, and Fabricators.

Production Shift Schedules Available:

  • 1st Shift: 6:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday - Thursday + Friday overtime based on production needs
  • 2nd Shift: 4:30PM - 3:00AM, Monday - Thursday + Friday overtime based on production needs
  • Weekend Shift: 6:00AM - 6:30PM, Friday - Sunday

Role & Responsibility

Welding: Welds steel attachment products using wire feed techniques

Assembly: Assembles attachment products and parts using a variety of tools and equipment

Painter: Applies powder coat painting techniques on finished attachments

Material Handler: Transports parts and finished attachment goods inside and outside the facilities manually by hand or lifting devices

Fabricator: Fabricates a variety of steel parts through fiber lasers, plasmas, break and punch presses

  • Keeps work area clean, orderly and maintain 5S schedule.
  • Required to fill out daily production sheets.
  • Required to accurately scan and record information in the Oracle inventory system.
  • Required to correctly identify and label parts for their specific area with correct quantity and location.
  • Perform quality checks as required.
  • Assists in the instruction and training of others as requested by supervisor.
  • Completes preventative maintenance and other duties as directed by Total Production Maintenance.
  • Perform other non-essential duties as assigned by supervisors and business leaders

Job Requirement

  • Must be able to follow established work processes and procedures through verbal and written communications
  • Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet manufacturing build requirements.
  • Must be able to perform work in a safe manner by following company safety protocols
  • Previous forklift operations experience preferred but not required

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Work is performed in a shop environment.
  • Conditions include proximity to moving and mechanical parts, exposure to high noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection and exposure to vibration through the use of tools and equipment.
  • Subject to air and skin exposure to chemical hazards and atmospheric conditions that may affect the respiratory system such as fumes, odors, dusts, mists and gases.
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment including weld helmet, gloves and protective sleeving and /or aprons.
  • Face shield required during grinding operation.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • The overall level of work is defined as medium duty.
  • Employees are expected to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
