Underthe direction of the Customer Support Manager, the Support Specialist providesefficient and flexible desktop support services with a strong customer servicecommitment. The Support Specialist will provide second level of support toissues reported as well as desktop administration of computer systems andrelated peripherals, classroom technology support, and will provide Help Deskcustomer support. Will be working in a clinical and academic environment.
Perform configuration, installation, repair, and upgrades of desktop/laptop/tablet computers and related peripherals
- Install, support, and configure desktop/laptop software and hardware
- Install and configure workstations and specific operating systems
- Evaluate a customer's needs, research, and implement preferred solution
- Train customers on best practices
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware devices
- Video Conferencing support
- Other technical services as requested

MinimumQualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience,Certifications, Licensure):
High School Diploma or GED
- At least two years computer support experience and/or education
Ability todemonstrate a working knowledge of:
Microsoft Windows 10
- Microsoft Office 365
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Mac OS, IOS and Android devices
- Desktop computer hardware
- Network printer operations
Lifting and carrying equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Able to perform work in very tight places
- Able to climb ladders and work overhead
