As part of the Talent Acquisition (TA) team, the Talent Acquisition Senior will creatively source and track prospective candidates for open and future positions across job families. Through consultation with managers and HR Partners of various schools/centers the TA Senior will obtain information on open and upcoming positions and to identify and screen candidates for knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies. They maintain a high level of interaction with hiring representatives and their delegates; provide range of services from referral of resumes to broader recruitment services. Perform necessary services for hiring officers to complete hire; effectively support University's Affirmative Action policies and commitment to Diversity, Inclusion and Equity through outreach and engagement of diversity candidates across all job families. This role with work with the Division of Human Resources Senior Compensation Specialist when necessary to research relevant data; analyze new hire salary determinations & provide consultation for new hire salaries. The Talent Acquisition Senior will maintain a thorough knowledge of the wealth of University's benefits and will clearly articulate to candidate(s) total compensation package. Support the creation and delivery of presentations to hiring officers on best hiring practices.

The TA Senior will maintain and share knowledge of current recruitment and legislative changes and trends and share with HR community and hiring managers. Active participation in all Recruitment/HR related activities includes but not limited to CUPA, All Things Recruitment, HR Council, HERC meetings is expected. As part of the Core HR team and a leader on the TA team will act as the Recruitment Subject Matter Expert for the training and communication to Hiring Managers and HR Partners across supported schools/centers. The TA Senior will maintain and promote knowledge and benefits of recruitment tools and technologies available to hiring managers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. HR certification preferred.
Experience in full life cycle recruiting and sourcing scientific or clinical candidates required
Knowledge of staffing systems and tools, Workday preferred
Expertise in candidate sourcing solutions

Knowledge of recruiting trends and passion for talent acquisition

Behavioral competencies:
Planning and organizing, communication, problem analysis and problem solving, judgment, decision-making, adaptability, teamwork, negotiation skills, confidentiality.

Targeted Pay Range:

$68,000 to $70,000
