Seeking hardworking and enthusiastic Talent Acquisition Specialist with a passion for sourcing and hiring top talent required to meet corporate growth goals while maintaining an exceptional recruitment experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Sourcing and Selection
-Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruiting platforms to source passive and active candidates
-Pre-screen applicants by reviewing resumes and conducting phone and in-person interviews
-Extend and negotiate employment offers as directed and within company guidelines
-Advise and consult with hiring managers regarding market trends, recruiting issues and company policies and procedures
-Manage candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
-Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction and sourcing of candidates
Provide a high level of service throughout the recruiting lifecycle
-Serve as a point of contact for candidates, providing complete, accurate, and inspiring information about the company and position
-Inform and guide hiring managers regarding talent acquisition market trends, policies, and processes
-Prepare candidates for interview by providing company information, job description(s), and setting expectations
-Organize, lead and document post-interview feedback with interview teams and candidates
-Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition for employee's first day
-Serve as brand ambassador at various events to help build talent pool
-Manage scheduling and logistics between candidates and hiring managers
-Proactively keep others informed and appropriately express ideas and thoughts
-Provide expertise on the regional employment market, trends and innovative recruiting techniques to ensure competitiveness in hiring
-Work closely with other members of Human Resources to advise hiring manager and candidates regarding Orientation, Benefits, Compensation, and Pay
Education and/or Experience
This position interacts with and provides service to a large group of internal associates and external candidates.Must be positive and approachable, able to work effectively with diverse personalities and work well under high levels of pressure.In addition, the following is required:
•3-5 years' experience in a fast paced, service oriented environment.
•Bachelor's degree required
•Corporate recruiting experience preferred
•Recruitment designation (CIR, CPC or similar) preferred
•Maintain a high level of confidentiality
•Strong knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter
•Proficient in the use of MS Office software (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
•Exceptional verbal, written and communication skills.
•Must be well organized, dependable and team oriented
•Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily workload
•Maintain a valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
Work Environment & Physical Demands
•Ability to use computer keyboard and sit in a stationary position for extended periods.
•Extended work hours required on occasion which may begin before and / or end after the normally scheduled workday.
Travel to other MMA offices as required.
