Intrado is looking to hire a Technical Project Analyst to join our Life & Safety business segment. This position offers the option to work remote when not traveling.

The Technical Project Analyst will be responsible for implementation strategy of information systems and network solutions that support core organizational functions; design and implement short term tactical plans for customer solutions ensuring proposed and existing solutions are aligned with organizational goals and objectives; providing technical leadership to assigned department to ensure deployment issues are addressed; address highly difficult deployment plan; provide one-on-one training on new or updates to software or hardware the deployment team will have to work with; prepare documents to provide step-by-step instructions on how to upgrade or deploy appropriate systems and conduct updates as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Technical Leadership Functions- Provide technical leadership to assigned department to ensure deployment are performed as efficiently and accurately as possible, respecting the nature of the business according to established corporate and department policies and procedures
• Software Installation and Training - Participate in the installation of 911 call handling and dispatch systems, including travel to customer site, installation and troubleshooting of software and hardware while adhering to company and departmental policies and procedures
• Problem Resolution - Proactively oversee the activities involved in quality resolution of problems related to area of responsibility
• Team Interface/Customer Service - Establish and maintain a professional relationship with internal/external customers, team members and department contacts

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major class work in MIS, computer science or related area required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 4 years experiences in performing technical troubleshooting in a client interfacing role required
• Minimum 4 years 9-1-1 or public safety experience required
• Minimum three years of technical customer service experience required
• Minimum two years installation or software training experience required Technical Knowledge
• Minimum 3 years experiences with networking, Windows based servers and workstations required
• Minimum 1 year experience with SAL preferred
• Minimum two years experiences with Oracle and SQL preferred
• Certifications (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), etc.) preferred
• Minimum 2 years knowledge of cabling (e.g., running, terminating, and testing Cat5e,568a,568b, RJ45, etc.) required
• Minimum 2 years telephony knowledge (e.g., MDF, tip and ring punch down, color codes, POTS, etc.) required
• Minimum 2 years knowledge of basic safety industry hardware and software troubleshooting procedures required

OTHER:

• Intermediate knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint required

• 25-75 % Travel may be required
