Territory Sales Manager - Business Development, Sales, Roofing We are currently seeking a talented, organized and professional Business Development professional in the greater Colorado market area, for a key Territory Sales Manager role with a local building products manufacturer.


"For this role, in an IDEAL SITUATION, the Denver metro area or even CO Springs area is the ideal area for the hired candidate to be located.
"It is a home based position but we do have a plant facility in Denver where they are able to base some work out of.
"This role will be responsible for a territory including Colorado, Montana and Wyoming, with the BULK of the business in the Colorado market.
"There is very little overnight travel required with this position but it does include CO, WY, and Montana. Those outlying markets are small for us and I would estimate that 85 percent of the time would be spent in CO (Denver Metro and CO Springs)
"We do have meetings and those sorts of things that require travel occasionally



This role will be a field/work from home type role, where you can work out of your home office, when not visiting with existing or potential customers in the field, representing the company in a professional manner to promote our products and creating relationships that will allow for market expansion and product sales.
The key to this role will be the development/maintenance of relationships with customers and prospects that will include decision makers at: Distributors, Home Builders, Roofing Contractors, Regional and Local Production Builders, Multi-Family Builders, Architects and Colorists.

We would welcome those with an existing background and history working with and supporting the needs of these segments and key customers within the segments, as well as previous experience promoting Building Products, Construction products including Roofing materials, Fenestration products, siding and trim products, interior/exterior stone and cultured stone products, etc.

More important than a DIRECT 1:1 match on WHAT is being sold and to whom, the biggest factor making a candidate a great fit, will be proven track record managing and developing a territory and working in an organized fashion. Those with SUPERIOR general territory sales experience with both maintaining and developing new business, and working in a way where the company product line is professionally, and successfully represented will be a winning fit for our needs.

"This will be a Base salary, plus commission compensation plan, based on the experience of the candidate.

"In addition to the salary listed, we are offering sales commissions and have been paying out great numbers, with the on target, REALISTIC earning potential the first year in the $120-130K range.

"We offer a competitive package with all the tools to help you get your job done.

"This role will be mostly self-guided, so we need those that are able to stay on task, stay focused and work with little hand-holding, BUT we do offer a strong training program for those that are industry up and comers, and for those that don't have SPECIFIC product or industry experience.

"Candidates must bring a valid Drivers License

Please note, we have ONE, perhaps even TWO roles open due to internal promotions.
