Media Partnerships Specialist II - Brand Experiences, SparkShop Management and Marketing

This position is open only to Ad Fellow Program participants.

The SparkShop is our associate store- where we create and offer exclusive merchandise to our associates, which is also available for the public to shop at SparkShop.com. We are investing in this coveted resource which provides our associates with a sense of belonging and fuels their pride to work at Walmart. This is a truly unique and entrepreneurial opportunity to help manage all aspects of a growing business - from building products to marketing them!

This role will get to manage many aspects of the SparkShop business including fine-tuning the store and .com experience, helping develop new, trend-driven merchandise, building unique and engaging pop-up experiential activations at highly visible company-wide events, and marketing it all to build pride among associates and beyond.

This individual will sit on the brand experiences team within marketing and get to work cross-functionally with our experiential, talent, and online experiences teams (among many other teams and agencies!). This is a highly collaborative role on a highly engaging and fast-moving team.

You'll make an impact by:
  • Help us identify trends and culturally-relevant opportunities to expand our assortment
  • Build and manage calendars, timelines, processes
  • Aid in product design/development process- including briefings, trend reviews, line reviews, product/design review
  • Help lead our marketing planning - both for the merchandise and overall SparkShop experience
  • Execute pop-up experiences-from briefing to execution
  • Liaise with our partners and agencies - from product development to experiential design
