Summary:
This position develops and coordinates activities and educational programs in the wellness and resiliency programs at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park). The Wellness Coordinator will organize and implement a comprehensive Wellness program for patients in-person and virtually with a focus on Wellness, Resiliency, Stress & Burnout Reduction, and supportive care-oriented topics .The Wellness Program Coordinator will coordinate and oversee a program of services in Wellness, Resiliency, and Stress/Burnout Reduction program to include, but not limited to: (1) mind-body, mindfulness, meditation, yoga or other movement therapy; (2) traditional Chinese medicine; (3) cooking and food preparation classes; (4) massage; (5) nutrition and supplement counseling; (6) Reiki or other healing touch therapy; or (7) aromatherapy. This position works with site leadership and faculty to identify partners within the community to collaborate with related to Wellness programming. This position will coordinate programming in collaboration with the Resiliency Program Coordinator counterpart focused on staff to develop and deliver in-person and virtual wellness and stress reduction programs to patients and family members across all clinical, education and research areas of Roswell Park and the CARE Network.

Starting salary for this position is $54,232 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience

1. Master's degree in Science, Health, Mental Health or a related field and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in medical social work and/or experience in a comprehensive cancer center or a health related field; or one (1) year of full-time experience working within a hospital setting; or six (6) months of full-time experience with developing and implementing programming within a health care facility; or
2. Bachelor's degree in Science, Health, Mental Health or a related field and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience in medical social work and/or experience in a comprehensive cancer center or a health related field; or two (2) years of full-time experience working within a hospital setting; or one (1) year of full-time experience with developing and implementing programming within a health care facility; or
3. Associate's degree in Science, Health, Mental Health or a related field and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time experience in medical social work and/or experience in a comprehensive cancer center or a health related field; or four (4) years of full-time experience working within a hospital setting; or two (2) years of full-time experience with developing and implementing programming within a health care facility.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will have at least two (2) years of full-time experience in Medical Social Work and/or experience in a comprehensive cancer center or a health related field; or one (1) year of full-time experience working within a hospital setting; or six (6) months of full-time experience with developing and implementing programming within a health care facility. They will also be familiar with community resources on stress reduction and resiliency, experience with delivering content to diverse audiences and experience with data analysis, outcomes measurement and quality improvement research. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Roswell Park and programming and have basic grant writing experience.
