Accounts Payable Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Arlington, VA that is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist.Responsibilities:
  • Review and process travel-related invoices and expense reports in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • The Accounts Payable Specialist will verify accuracy and completeness of expense documentation, including receipts, approvals, and supporting documentation
  • Prepare and process payments for travel expenses, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement.
  • Reconcile travel-related accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed
  • Communicate with employees and vendors regarding expense-related inquiries and issues
  • Assist in developing and maintaining travel expense policies and procedures
  • The Accounts Payable Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Perform other accounts payable duties as assigned


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in accounts payable, with a focus on managing travel expenses
  • Familiarity with manual invoice processing and payment methods
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
