Accounts Payable Specialist

Ledgent is currently partnering with our client in South Denver on a contract to hire position for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This is an opportunity to join a great team that is very collaborative and work inside a quickly growing organization. This role is hybrid remote and requires 2 days/week in-office.

Accounts Payable Specialist duties include:

• Invoice data entry into accounting software with a high level of accuracy
• Assign invoices to corresponding approver
• Assist with check/payment runs
• Provide customer service to vendors including statement reconciliations
• Research and resolve issues with unpaid invoices

The ideal Accounts Payable Specialist will possess:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable
• Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
