Applications are being accepted for the following vacancies for the Summer and Fall 2024 semesters on the Adjunct Faculty staff of Hudson Valley Community College.

BIOLOGY, CHEMISTRY, & PHYSICS DEPARTMENT:

Adjunct Instructor, Biology HV-ADJ-Bio 31924

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Biology or closely related discipline from an accredited college or university. One year of college teaching experience is preferred.
Biology courses include: Anatomy & Physiology, Human Biology, General Biology, and Nutrition.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Provide instruction in the Biology, Chemistry, and Physics Department in Biology.
•    Evaluate student performance.
•    At the direction of the Department Chairperson, faculty shall perform duties as specified in the Faculty Contract.
•    Course assignments may be at the HVCC main campus (Troy, NY) and/or HVCC North (Malta, NY).

The Salary is $1,340.00 per contact hour.
