Large Utitlity company is adding a TEMP to their Financial Services department. This is an on-site, full time assignment for an estimated duration of 6 months.

Position will be expected to work 40 hour/week between the hours of 7:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m.

Ideal Candidates will have:
Accounts payable experience, Great Plains experience is preferred
Public-sector procurement experience purchasing goods and services
Good attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication
Experience providing excellent customer service

Example of Duties:
Processes initial approval process for accounts payable; enters receiving documents and
invoices into accounts payable module, verifies accuracy of invoices, packing slips,
purchase orders, and inventory orders; resolves discrepancies; obtains
documentation/signatures as necessary to ensure proper approval and verification has
been met to pay all invoices.

Enter data into Great Plains

Purchases supplies, equipment, and facilities contract services; reviews and approves
requisitions and issues purchase orders; and prepares and obtains quotes from vendors.
Prepares routine financial, accounting, budgetary, and statistical studies and reports.
Prepares, maintains, and/or verifies a variety of accounting, financial, and statistical
records, ledgers, logs, and files.
Gathers and organizes data to assist staff in the preparation of reports and
recommendations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by college
level course work in bookkeeping, accounting, business administration, or a related field. A
Bachelor degree is desirable.
Experience: Three (3) years of increasingly responsible clerical and routine technical
accounting experience involving the maintenance and posting of accounting, financial, and/or
statistical records.
