Job Summary::Are you looking for new ways to enhance the learning experience for students? Do you thrive in an academic learning environment? If so, then Kalamazoo Valley Community College may have the perfect part-time faculty position for you.
KVCC is seeking a part-time instructor to teach the Human Anatomy & Physiology sequence (BIO 115 & BIO 215). These courses use a lecture and laboratory format to illustrate the concepts of anatomy and physiology and provide the foundation for further study in the health careers. The two-semester sequence presents a detailed study of the structure and function of the eleven human body systems. BIO 115 emphasizes the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, and endocrine systems. BIO 215 emphasizes the cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. Duties will include teaching day and/or evening courses.
Master's degree in the subject area is required.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience::Prior teaching experience in the subject area is preferred.
