Title: Electrical/Electronic assembler

Perform high reliability soldering and crimping operations on complex electrical, electronic and mechanical assemblies, strain-gages, shuttle-type actuators, and electronic control assemblies. Required to solder/crimp wires and jumpers to multiple pin connectors/assemblies to meet government/customer inspection and specification. Work from wiring schematics, parts lists, drawings, assembly worksheets, and other instructions both written and oral. Know and follow applicable ESD procedures; understand high reliability soldering specifications, and meet certification requirements as applicable. Perform assembly of various boards, standoffs, jumper wires, wire harness, subassemblies, final assemblies, and solder or crimp complex assemblies/connections. Apply potting compound to assemblies/connectors ensuring a rigid support for the wire bundle. Utilize electrical and mechanical measuring instruments, assembly tools, fixtures, and various cleaning procedures. This may require using microscopes, mirrors, picks, and other high resolution equipment. Responsible for testing, monitoring, and utilizing soldering irons, crimpers, wristbands, volt/ohmmeter, hi-pot and bridging equipment. Minimum 1 year soldering experience a must
J-STD 314D Mod 1-4 certification preferredJ-STD 318A Nasa Space Addendum 8739 certification preferred
