Kenyon College is conducting a search for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Associate Director of Student Accessibility and Support Services. The Associate Director of Student Accessibility and Support Services is a member of Student Accessibility and Support Services in the Academic division. This is a full-time, 12-month, administrative position reporting to the Director of the Office of Student Accessibility and Support Services.Responsibilities: Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:Essential Job Functions:

Assist the director in day-to-day operations in support of students with disabilities.Supervise testing and note-taking services, providing support and guidance to the respective Coordinators.Spearhead coaching support, time management and executive function skills assistance.Review documentation and student learning profiles to support development of appropriate accommodation plans.Explain Kenyon's disability related services to prospective students, parents, and high school counselors.Develop and present training and programs on disability related topics for a variety of campus stakeholders.Oversee implementation of accommodations for students with disabilities.Provide academic support and guidance for students with disabilities, students on conditional enrollment and or students referred for poor academic performance.Interview, assess, and provide appropriate referrals for students with potential disabilities.Maintain and analyze databases and records of confidential student files.Develop and maintain relationships with state/local community organizations and agencies that provide services to persons/students with disabilitiesPromote student development.Serve on appropriate committees.Undertake special projects and duties as assigned.Serve as proxy in the absence of the director, as assignedThis position requires occasional work on evenings and weekends.

Requirements: Master's degree in education, disability studies, vocational rehabilitation, psychology, or other related field and 3 years progressively responsible, supervisory experience in a post-secondary disability services environment.OR Bachelor's degree in education, disability studies, vocational rehabilitation, psychology, or other related field and 5 years progressively responsible, supervisory experience in a post-secondary disability services environment. Desired Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of Section 504 and ADA/ADAA, differences between k-12 and post-secondary accommodation practices and experience with a wide range/ types of disabilities.
• Experience reviewing and interpreting documentation (including psychoeducational evaluations) in the provision of post-secondary accommodations.
• Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of campus and wider community.
• Demonstrated experience with neurodivergent populations in a higher education environment.
• Experience in data gathering, analysis and reporting.
• Sensitivity and competency in working with a diverse population.
• Commitment to Access, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
