Job Description:


The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Thomas J. Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science at Binghamton University (The State University of New York at Binghamton) invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of associate professor to begin fall 2024.

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Binghamton University invites applications for a senior faculty position at the associate professor level to begin fall 2024. The department invites prominent leaders in the broad field of analog integrated circuit design and are particularly interested in a candidate who can conduct and lead research specializing in application of new and emerging technologies to design high-frequency devices and circuits to support electromagnetic communication at millimeter-wave and THz frequencies.


The successful applicant will be expected to develop an externally funded research program and have a commitment to excellence in teaching at the BS, MS, and PhD levels.



Requirements:


  • Must have earned Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Must have established a research program, including a strong record of securing external funding and establishing leadership
  • Must have a strong record of scholarship as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and citations
  • Be an effective instructor at both the undergraduate and graduate levels
  • Should have a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusiveness
