Job Description:

The Project Solutions Team at HITT Contracting is the culmination of field operations, construction best practices and technology optimization. The goal of the department is to be on the leading edge of innovation in the construction industry, creating a framework that maintains peak operational performance from project teams. By leveraging the very latest in construction methodology and technology, HITT can continue to deliver award-winning projects more efficiently, more safely, and at higher quality.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, analytically minded, high-performing, and has strong communication skills. The Project Solutions Associate is to be enthusiastic about construction process improvements, operations technology, and data analysis. The Project Solutions Associate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple deadlines, maintain high standards, and can confidently support (and work alongside) field operations.

Responsibilities

• Manages time, tasks, and responsibilities with tenacity and according to priority/need.
  
• Excellent communication skills accomplished by effective public speaking and written communication.
  
• Knows how to collect, analyze, and interpret data/information in order to make logical recommendations.
  
• Able to identify deficient workflow processes and helps to build (or improve) processes throughout the Project Solutions Department (including Virtual Construction and Sustainable Construction), operations, and the greater HITT organization.
  
• Supports the adoption, implementation, teaching, and promotion of technology solutions.
  
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and passion for construction and our industry.
  
• Demonstrates integrity consistent with the HITT Way and HITT's core values.
  
• Understands on-site construction documents, including plans, specifications, shop drawings, as-built drawings, submittals, pay applications, waivers, RFIs, directories, etc.
  
• Communicates confidently and comfortably with construction field teams.
  
• Supports and assists with the rollout and training of jobsite technology.
  
• Acts as the Access Manager and main point of contact for our operations technologies, including but not limited to: Procore, Dronedeploy, OpenSpace, Pype Closeout, HITT's proprietary bidding platform, and Toolwatch
  
• Receives and responds to all ticketing, maintenance, and training requests, plus all other general assistance, for HITT Contracting and its users.
  
• Regularly coordinates with each platform's Customer Success Team to ensure HITT is up to date with the latest news and information, disseminating this information to HITT staff and project teams.
  
• Supports the composition and implementation of protocols, policy and procedures regarding HITT's usage of jobsite technology, including Procore.
  
• Takes and active role in learning, promoting and implementing technology across all project sites.
  
• Collect, analyze, and interpret jobsite data in order to make product and process recommendations.
  

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Construction Management, Building Science, Engineering, Architecture) or equivalent experience.
  
• 2+ years' experience on commercial construction projects.
  
• Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office,
  
• Procore "super-user" a plus.
  
• General knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, SketchUp, P6, a plus.
