RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Benefits Coordinator in Bethesda, Maryland (MD).Responsibilities include:
  • Participates in and/or supports the development and successful implementation of human resources policies, programs, systems across and clients
  • Works with clients HRIS to ensure and perform accurate system maintenance in support of human resources data management, reporting, benefits administration, compensation administration, and all other applicable human resources functionalities within the HRIS
  • Benefits Coordinator participates in and/or supports all aspects of benefits administration, including preparation for, roll out and oversight of, and follow up on, all aspects of open enrollment
  • Tracks programs such as FMLA and ADA to assist with STD/LTD and Workers Compensation
  • Advise managers and employees on state and federal employment regulations, benefit and compensation policies, personnel procedures, and classification programs
  • Receives and responds to day-to-day leader and employee inquiries and needs
  • Benefits Coordinator resolves benefit-related issues and respond to queries and requests in a timely manner, including QLEs
  • Collaborate with payroll and ensure that employer contributions and payroll deductions are processed accurately and in a timely manner


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field is required
  • Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) preferred
  • SHRM or HRCI certification is strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of human resources generalist experience is required, ideally in a healthcare environment
  • 1+ years of benefit administration experience is required
  • 1+ years of training experience is required
  • Experience with UKG highly desired


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
