Job Summary:

The intern will be provided a topic that is related to statistical programming where the intern will work on or assist in developing the programming tool (macros, utilities, or apps).

The intern will be assigned to a programming project using R or SAS to create data visualization and summary tables. The primary goal is for the intern to get a training about statistical programming in pharmaceutical company, and to support the basic programming activities under a supervision.

The intern will participatein certain department activities and initiatives development.

Qualifications:Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Education/Experience:

A candidate in a BS or MS program at an accredited college/university in mathematics or statistics where the candidate has demonstrated knowledge of scientific programming

Being available for 12 weeks full time from May to August, on site or work from home depending on DSI policy;

Detail-oriented, highlymotivated, able to manage multiple tasks and to work independently and as a team member;

Sufficient skills in at least one of the following programming languages: R/R Shiny, SAS.

Good communication skills
