About the Role:

Our brand is behind millions of lifelong memories. We have a story to tell and an identity to build - and our new brand director will forge our path.

You'll work with a cross-functional group of leaders and marketers to drive our brand strategy. You'll help us crystallize our identity and voice; better understand our audiences; build emotional connections with travelers, operators, and our employees; and create a consistent, cross-channel strategy that targets brand awareness, familiarity, and relevance.

The role is creative and analytical in equal measure.

What you'll do:

  • Lead a brand identity exercise in collaboration with a cross-functional group of marketers and leaders. You'll review how we look, how we sound, who we speak to, and where we show up - and you'll help us do it all better.
  • Plan and manage overall brand strategy. Identify the key moments and audiences that will maximize our awareness and relevance, then build our brand calendar and partner with our design, content, marketing, and social teams on campaign execution.
  • Define, measure, and report on brand performance. Prove we're making Viator increasingly known, liked, and memorable.
  • Work closely with your peers to ensure we're prioritizing the POV of our audience, whether traveler, operator or partner, in all we do.
What you've done:
  • Built brands from the ground up, including mission, vision, voice, values, value proposition, and audience segmentation. You have the data to prove it.
  • Successfully pivoted the identity of established brands. You have the data to prove it.
  • Built consensus amongst your peers and senior leadership around entirely new and/or updated brand identities and directions.
  • Executed cross-channel brand campaigns, working cross-functionally with peers in content marketing, CRM, media relations, SEM, display marketing, and social.
  • Earned a reputation as an exceptional writer and communicator with a keen eye for design and video.
  • Made a significant, consistent, and measurable impact on business performance through brand marketing.
  • Ensured organization-wide adherence to brand and voice guidelines.
  • Spent 10+ years building brands, showing progressive professional responsibility, including ownership over a brand marketing function.
