RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Business Unit Controller to join their team in New Milford, CT.Summary:This client is a manufacturing company that is continuously growing and thriving. They have a tight-knit team, great office culture, and including team outings.   • Responsible for business unit accounting operations
  • The Business Unit Controller supports the financial aspects of the business unit
  • Analyze and explain results and variances, and make improvements
  • Review balance sheets and profit and loss statements and analyze against budget/forecast
  • Prepare audit support memos and financial analyses
  • Develop financial strategy, risk minimization, and opportunity forecasting.
  • The Business Unit Controller is responsible for the month-end close process
  • Update financial forecasts against budget
  • Prepare budgets, budget consolidation, capital expenditure, operating costs and present to management


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 8+ years of manufacturing experience, semiconductor experience is preferred
  • Experience with Epicor is a huge plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
