Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Inspect, report defects, and maintain transport equipment
• Plan logistics to insure on-time delivery - hours will vary
• Obey all applicable traffic and freight-carrier regulations and laws
• Meet performance expectations
• Assist with loading or unloading of products or materials, using specialized equipment when warranted. Unloads empty pallets and returns all equipment to the designated area.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor - uniforms provided
• Relocate trailer assets at our facility
• Maintain a safe work record
• Maintain signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork. Delivers documentation to shipping office or appropriate colleague when a delivery route is complete.
• Visually inspecting product
• Communicating with employees and management
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Physical Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with proper endorsements
• A minimum of three years of verifiable experience in a similar CDL Tractor-trailer driver position - accident-free.
• A "Safety First" mindset
• A clean MVR
• Candidate must pass all DOT requirements including physical examination and drug screen
• Lifting up to 30 pounds
• Stooping, bending, and moving about the plant for up to 8 hours per day
