CNA/MEDICAL ASSISTANT/LPN

  • Patient care responsibilities as assigned which may include: checking schedules and organizing patient flow; accompanying patients to exam/procedure room; assisting patients as needed with walking, transfers, dressing, preparing for exam, etc; collecting patient history; performing screenings per provider guidelines; assisting physicians/nurses with various procedures; and charting.
  • Clerical responsibilities as assigned, which may include: obtaining lab/x-ray reports and hospital notes, as required. Assists in preparing patients for procedures to include consents and medical clearances (med verification, PMP database search, AKA entry).
  • Electronically write prescriptions per request of physician but must be reviewed and signed by provider after they are done. Prescriptions are e-scribed, called to pharmacies or readied for patient pick up per physician orders.
  • Promotes wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advise/instructions.
  • Provide coverage at other locations, as needed, which includes traveling during the work day. Must have reliable transportation.
  • Assists physicians with procedures and treatments.
  • Provides basic patient care as ordered. Documents all activities/interventions, patient/family responses, medication dispensed/prescribed, etc., in the medical record.
EDUCATION:
  • High school diploma, completion of a state accredited MA or LPN program.
  • Current LPN license and CPR certification required.
EXPERIENCE:
  • One year of work experience in medical field desired, preferably as a CNA,Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse.
PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $18-$23/hr.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
