CONTROLLER

Location: Bloomingdale, IL
Salary: $135,000.00 USD Annually - $170,000.00 USD Annually
Description: The Judge Group is in search of a Controller to lead all of finance and accounting at a long-established and well-respected manufacturing and custom engineered solutions company in Bloomingdale. You'll also be a technical leader in the organization managing over the IT function and team.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. Includes working to collect customer invoices and reconcile short pays.
  
• Maintain General Ledger and produce monthly financial statements including analysis of operating results
  
• Work with Human Resources Administrator to monitor and improve employee benefits while containing costs
  
• Generate bi-monthly Salary Payroll; Reconcile monthly bank statements; Pay monthly Sales and Use Tax
• Manage Property/Casualty & Worker's Compensation insurance programs including solicitation of quotes
  
• Oversee computer system maintenance and development:
  
• Lead the ERP Team
• Promote improvements in Network operations
• Provide analysis of part and job production results
• Work with bank to maintain and improve treasury function
• Coordinates annual physical inventory counting and reconciliation

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 5 years' experience as a Controller or Accounting Manager in a manufacturing environment
  
• Strong computer skills - Epicor experience desirable.
  
• Knowledgeable in Property/Casualty Insurance
