Job Description Summary:
We're searching for a bright and driven professional to become a core member of our Corporate Development team. In this pivotal role, you'll play a key role in crafting inorganic growth strategies for PayPal. You'll have the unique opportunity to learn the entire M&A lifecycle - from deal origination all the way through execution - while working alongside our talented and experienced professionals. This high-impact position offers exposure to a global scale and collaboration with executives across all functions.

Job Description:

Opportunity:

  • Unique opportunity to be involved in transformational deals that directly influence the company's strategic direction
  • Dive deep into research and analysis of potential target companies and industry trends, informing strategic decisions
  • Be a key contributor to due diligence processes, gathering information, conducting market research, and crafting compelling presentations
  • Develop your financial modeling skills by contributing to building and analyzing financial models for transactions
  • Manage deal timelines, track action items, and prepare crucial deal documents, ensuring smooth execution
  • Foster seamless communication and collaboration between internal and external stakeholders
  • Stay on top of industry trends and market developments in the Global FinTech space

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of work experience; experience at a top investment bank preferred
  • Relevant academic background from a top tier educational institution
  • Thinks analytically and tackles problems head-on with a 'can-do' mindset; Naturally curious individuals that can think from a first principles-based approach
  • Solid understanding of financial modelling and valuation concepts
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
