Job Details:

This position is responsible for covering all debone stations, whole leg cutting, knife sharpening and cone line as needed.

Schedule: Monday - Friday (1st shift)

Starting pay rate: $21.20/hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:

• Train for all positions within the debone department including assisting the Front Half, 16th, & 24th stations, cone line, whole leg cutting and knife sharpening room.
• Removes product from whole bird such as wings, skin, breast fillets, and breast tenders.
• Determine appropriate cuts according to the established training.
• Use of straight knife and wizard knife
• All other duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to lift 40 to 45 lbs
• Must be able to stand for 8 or more hours
• Must be able successfully pass all department training and consistently meet minimum quotas for all positions.
• Must be able to pass weekly audits.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School or equivalent preferred
• 6 months of production experience preferred

Communication Skills:

• Ability to take direction and learn by observing others
• Ability to communicate effectively with or without interpretive assistance

Physical Requirements / Environment:

• Stand: Continuously (4 or more hours before 1st break)
• Grasp: Continuously
• Pull/Push: Occasionally
• Lift/Carry: Frequently (up to 20 lbs.)

Occasionally (up to 30-50 lbs.)

• Bend/Stoop/Squat: Frequently (shoveling product)
• Physical Environment: Continuously: Working around moving machinery, working in a damp, slippery and cold environment (Below 40° F)
