Position Description:

Job Purpose and Scope:

Responsible for the strategic development of deposit products and services that empower customers to perform a variety of tasks online via self-service. Researches and recommends new product features and services in order to grow customer adoption/use of product and services and collaborates with Digital Banking and Marketing on product and platform roadmap.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Collaborates with other bank teams such as Digital Banking, Marketing, Learning and Development, Operations, Compliance, etc. for new products, product enhancements, pricing, and promotions.
  • Assesses relevant customer, competitor, and industry insights to help define strategies to improve product experience and portfolio growth.
  • Leads stakeholders to envision, define, and translate the digital product experiences into initiatives and drive execution strategy.
  • Manages a portfolio of digital deposit products and services to ensure all revenue and expense targets are achieved.
  • Monitors and forecasts customer acquisition, adoption and usage of digital products and services in order to identify gaps and develop appropriate strategies to close gaps.
  • Collaborates with Marketing to develop and implement marketing initiatives to drive awareness, adoption and usage of product and services
  • Monitors competitive offers and pricing in order to ensure products are positioned and priced correctly in the marketplace.
  • Understands processes, procedures and technology used to deliver products and services to customers and how those impact the customer experience.
  • Partners with key stakeholders across the bank in order to ensure mutual goals are achieved.
  • Provides bank personnel with information and training necessary to successfully promote and support products and regularly interfaces with bankers on best practices.
  • Perform the role of product advocate on cross-functional teams to drive awareness and adoption of products and services that support achievement of revenue and profit objectives as well as contribute to the bank's growth strategy.
  • Maintains an awareness of new trends and developments for the segments supported and deposit product set.
  • Ensures all products and services stays in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policy, and risk requirements.
  • Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions.
  • Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work.
  • Follows Bank policy, procedures and guidelines.

    Position Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, finance, or related field, or commensurate work experience, required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of product management work experience or a minimum of seven (7) years of work experience in financial services required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of digital industry experience working on consumer products preferred.
  • Prior deposit product work experience preferred.
