Director Accreditation and Quality

Responsible for leading quality and accreditation strategy and activities for the enterprise and leading compliance with regulatory areas assigned to the accreditation teams.

How will you make an impact:

• Works with both internal and external customers to promote understanding of accreditation requirements and activities and to prioritize projects according to corporate, regional, and departmental goals.
• Directs accreditation processes and resources.
• Identifies resources and accountabilities for teams involved with accreditation and designated regulatory requirements, including overseeing the development of processes to establish deliverables and timelines.
• Oversees, manages, and coordinates quality committees and reporting of CAHPS. Maintains knowledge of quality standards, accreditation, and applicable regulatory standards, and conducts the ongoing evaluation and interpretation of standards to ensure compliance.
• Leads and oversees continuous improvement activities.
• Oversees reporting of quality activities, analysis, improvements, and recommendations to the Quality Committees across the enterprise.
• Assures the training and continuing education of staff regarding standards and guidelines, including NCQA and URAC. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

**Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm EST**

**This role is a hybrid role. The candidate must be willing to report to the office at least 1-2 days a week!**

**The candidate selected for this role can sit anywhere in the US 50 miles from an Elevance office location.**

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires BS/BA in a clinical or health care field (i.e., nursing, epidemiology, health sciences).
• 8 years of experience including 5 years of management experience in a QA/QI or project management environment; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

• MS or advanced degree in business or a health care related field preferred.
• NCQA/URAC accreditation process completion and continuous process improvement experience in an NCQA/URAC setting preferred.
• Behavioral Health background strongly preferred.
• Experience leading NCQA.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $131,600 - 236,880
