Slalom's Global People Team (GPT) seeks an experienced and dynamic leader to lead consulting skills development As the Director, Consulting Learning and Development you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our world-class professional services organization. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing a cutting-edge curriculum and learning experiences that align with the evolving landscape of strategy and technology consulting. We seek an innovative leader who can anticipate the needs of our consultants and equip them with the skills and knowledge necessary for the consulting of tomorrow.

What You'll Do:
  • Build a learning and development strategy for next generation strategy consultants that enables them to have meaningful impact and growth
  • Identify and define the experiences, exposure and education that our consultants need to aim further and faster in response to rapidly evolving business needs
  • Partner with Slalom leaders and executives to build alignment on consulting needs, metrics, and measures
  • Establish a professional "Area of Practice" that encompasses capabilities, knowledge, assets, tools, methodologies, and curricula
  • Innovate and experiment with new approaches to growing consultants
  • Lead a talented team of L&D practitioners who deliver early career consulting and consulting fundamental experiences as well as capability development.
  • Leverage data to evaluate needs, strategies and programs measuring the achievement of established goals and action plans
  • Teach and facilitate development programs in your portfolio
  • Champion our enterprise learning and development strategy, ensuring it remains relevant and forward-thinking.

  • Proven experience leading a high performing team and coaching team members
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience in consulting
  • Expertise/experience in creating innovative and experiential learning programs for consultants
  • Strong executive presence and demonstrated experience collaborating with stakeholders of all levels
  • Ability to project talent needs and define interventions to address those needs
  • Global perspective and ability to work with diverse cultures

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $170,000 to $190,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
