What we need:

The Director Financial Systems is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the development, optimization, and integration of financial systems to enhance overall financial performance. This role is critical in aligning financial technology solutions with business strategies.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for financial systems aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to drive innovation and efficiency through technology solutions.
  • Oversee the optimization and enhancement of existing financial systems.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes.
  • Lead efforts to integrate financial systems for seamless data flow and interoperability.
  • Ensure compatibility and connectivity between various financial applications.
  • Manage relationships with financial systems vendors and technology partners.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and enforce data security protocols for financial systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection laws.
  • Oversee the design and maintenance of financial reporting systems.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement automated reporting solutions for increased efficiency.
  • Ensure cost-effectiveness and ROI for technology investments.
  • Conduct financial analyses to support budget decisions.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in financial systems and IT.
  • Provide recommendations for technology adoption based on industry advancements.
  • Performs other duties as needed.

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of management experience.

  • Able to delegate work effectively to team members; ensures tasks are completed without micromanaging.

  • Proficient using Microsoft Suite of products.
  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
